SNOWSHILL.

29th August 2024.

Eleven found the free car park in Snowshill.
The walk started through the village and past the NT owned Manor House where the collections of Charles Wade are housed.

The quiet valley which the Manor House overlooks was entered and a group picture taken, as can be seen none of this group have taken a vow of silence.

We continued downhill for a while.

Before finding the only steep climb and the only stile on the route. This went far to explain why we finished the walk with time to spare.

We could now see Broadway Tower across the valley.

Broadway and The Vale of Evesham soon came into view.

A rest break with the view.

This field had been treated to a generous dose of slurry. Lottee rolled in it but the rest of us only suffered smelly feet.

Downhill all the way to the village.

Where the Snowshill Arms was booked for lunch.
